The Fassler Law Building is dedicated to the memory of Leona Zinn Fassler
A strong woman, who worked hard, loved her family and never made excuses.
She believed education was powerful and the only thing that was yours forwever
We designed our new offices to accomodate the changing face of Texas jurispurdence
We have three conference rooms to better serve our clients and the the latest computer and communication technology
We purchased the building, January 10, 2006. The first floor had been separated into two business, one side housed a liquor store the other, a drug store/soda fountain on the other side. Our building is two blocks from the Galveston beach, three blocks from the University of Texas Medical Branch and four blocks from the Port of Galveston.
The liquor store had been closed at least three years, the soda fountain over thirty. The liquor store was fully stocked with liquor and everything else that goes into a liquor store. The same was true for the soda fountain, it was a true time capsule from the 1960(s). The day we opened the boarded shut windows and doors, everything in the store was as it appeared on the day the store closed thirty years ago.
January 17, 2006, Alex Gonzalez owner of Creative Combinations, agreed to take on the job of renovation, he handed me a dollar, he said thatís what he would end up making on the job because the building was in such bad shape. Our law building is now one of the beautifully restored historic buildings in Galveston, Texas.
